Event Sign In

EARLY SIGN IN – FRIDAY, AUGUST 3rd, 11AM-8:30PM

DAY OF SIGN IN – SATURDAY, AUGUST 4th, 8AM-10AM

Sign in/warm up is now the day before the event on FRIDAY, AUGUST 3rd, 2018 from 11AM – 8:00PM. Sign in will be allowed on Saturday, August 4th, but it is strongly advised to sign in the day before to make the sign in process a breeze, to address any last minute issues that could arise, and skip the long sign in lines on Saturday. Please show up to the event with your pre-registration receipt printed and with your Mission Valley YMCA waiver signed. The waiver will be available for download during Pre-Registration, as well as during the day of the contest at check in and open registration. Any participants under 18 MUST have their waiver accompanied by a copy of the parents ID who signed the waiver, absolutely no exceptions, not even with team managers ID’s. If you already have a waiver on file with Clairemont Skatepark you do not need to fill out another one. You will NOT be allowed to enter the contest if the waiver and ID are not present.

ALL TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE: The itinerary below is only a guideline, all times are subject to change due to differences in division sizes, drop-outs, and delays. There are no refunds if you miss your call time or can’t make your call time due to itinerary changes.

Warm Up/Day of Sign In: 8:00am – 9:30am
Beginner 12 and Under Warmup: ~9:45am – 10:00am
Beginner 12 and Under: ~10:00am – 11:00am
Beginner 12 and Under Finals: ~11:00am – 11:15am
Amateur Warm-Up:~11:15am-11:30am
Amateur: ~11:30am – 1:00pm
Amateur Final: ~1:00pm – 1:15pm
Girls Warm-up: ~1:15pm – 1:30pm
Girls / Girls Final: ~1:30pm – 1:45pm
Pro Warm-up: ~1:45pm – 2:00pm
Pro Run One: ~2:00pm – 3:00pm
Pro Run Two: ~3:15pm – 4:15pm
Beginner 13 and Over Warmup: ~4:15 – 4:30
Beginner 13 and Over: ~4:30pm – 5:30pm
Beginner 13 and Over Finals: ~5:30pm – 5:45pm
Best Trick Warmup: ~5:45pm – 6:00pm (Time Permitting)
Best Trick: ~6:00pm – 7:00pm (Time Permitting)

Competition Format

Beginner: 5-Minute Jam Format – 5 Riders – Street Course Only – Top 10 Scoring Riders move to Beginner Finals. Beginner finals is a single 1-Minute Single Run Format, rider can utilize entire course including the new ramp section – Highest rider score from finals wins.

Girls: 2 Run Format – 1 Minute per run – High score wins

Am: Single Run Format – Skatepark/Street Course Only – 1-minute qualifying run – Top 10 Scoring Riders move to Am Finals (1 Minute Single Run Format) – High score wins

Pro: 2 Run Format – First run in the Skatepark/Street Course (1-Minute) – Second run on the Skatercross Track (1 Lap) – Average score of both runs wins

Best Trick: Only open to competitors from the Pro Division – 3 attempts anywhere in the park – Crowd favorite wins

Scoring

Scoring is based equally off: Variety (Trick Selection), Consistency (Tricks Landed), Amplitude (Speed/Height), Originality (Creative use of the course) & Style (Cleanliness).
